Frank F. Jones I 1872 - 1910
Spouse(s)
Sarah M. Holcomb/Halcomb
(m. 1891)
Martha Alice Blanton
(m. 1894)

Married first Sarah M. Holcomb or Halcomb, March 30, 1891.[1]

Studying the marriage record, it appears the Halcomb Family is from Letcher County, Kentucky as Sarah's birth place is notated as being born in Line Fork. There is no Line Fork in Harlan County. Although, Letcher was created out of Perry and Harlan counties in 1842 and it's very possible that Line Fork was in fact a part of Harlan County early on. However, we note that Frank is from Poor Fork in Harlan County. In reality, Line Fork waterway and Poor Fork waterway, which is actually a fork of the Cumberland River, run parallel to each other with Pine Mountain separating the two and the county line directly on the peak of Pine Mountain. Notice in the Marriage Record portion that Frank and Sarah are married on "top of Pine Mountain". It would very interesting to find the location of the wedding.

Married second Martha Alice Blanton, March 2, 1894
