There is no Line Fork in Harlan County. Although, Letcher was created out of Perry and Harlan counties in 1842 and it's very possible that [[Letcher County, Kentucky Map 1999|Line Fork]] was in fact a part of Harlan County early on. However, we note that Frank is from Poor Fork in Harlan County. In reality, Line Fork waterway and Poor Fork waterway, which is actually a fork of the Cumberland River, run parallel to each other with Pine Mountain separating the two and the county line directly on the peak of Pine Mountain. Notice in the Marriage Record portion that Frank and Sarah are married on "top of Pine Mountain".
